Custom GPTs are specialized AI helpers you create inside ChatGPT. Instead of explaining your needs every time you start a conversation, you can build a Custom GPT that already knows your rules, your style, and your reference materials.

No coding is needed — you set it up by describing what you want in plain English and uploading any reference documents.
Quickstart
- You need a ChatGPT Plus subscription ($20/month) — Custom GPTs aren't available on the free plan.
- Go to chatgpt.com/create or click Explore GPTs → Create in the ChatGPT sidebar.
- Describe what your assistant should do. Example: "You are a customer support agent for [my company]. You answer questions using the FAQ document I've uploaded."
- Upload any reference documents (PDFs, text files) that your assistant should know about.
- Test it with real questions, then share it with your team.
